CAA Signs ‘G.I. Joe’s Lee Byung-Hun

EXCLUSIVE: CAA signed Korean actor Lee Byung-Hun. He got launched in the U.S. as part of the cast of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and reprises his role in the sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He just got cast to star with Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich and Catherine Zeta-Jones in Summit’s Red 2.

He moved into Hollywood films after starring in films that included the Chan-wook Park-directed Joint Security Area, I Saw the Devil, The Good, The Bad, The Weird, and A Bittersweet Life.  He’s about to get his hand and foot print immortalized at Grauman Chinese Theater, only the second Korean actor to get that honor. He continues to be managed by Charles Pak in Korea and lawyered by Jeff Frankel.
